Confirm the required deadline
Confirm any certification, notarisation, apostille, formatting, or delivery requirements
Provide accurate names, dates, addresses, spellings, reference numbers, and personal details
Inform us of any specific authority, institution, or organisation requirements before work begins
Urgent Certified Translation is not responsible for errors, delays, rejection, or additional costs caused by inaccurate, unclear, incomplete, or late information provided by the client.
6. Certified Translations
Where certified translation is requested, we will provide the translation with the appropriate certification statement, translator or agency declaration, date, and relevant details according to the service ordered.
Clients are responsible for confirming whether the receiving authority requires any additional steps, such as notarisation, apostille, sworn translation, or a specific format.
Urgent Certified Translation is not responsible for rejection by a third party where the client has not informed us of specific requirements before the service begins.
7. Confidentiality
All documents and information submitted to us are treated as confidential.
We may share client documents only with professional translators, editors, reviewers, interpreters, transcriptionists, project managers, or other service providers involved in completing the requested service.
We take reasonable steps to protect client information. However, no online transmission, email communication, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Delivery
Delivery times depend on the scope, complexity, language pair, document quality, and requirements of each project.
Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith. A delivery time is only guaranteed where it has been expressly confirmed in writing.
Urgent Certified Translation is not responsible for delays caused by:
Incomplete, unclear, or illegible source documents
Missing client information
Late payment
Changes to the project requirements
Technical issues
Email delivery issues
Third-party service delays
Courier or postal delays
Force majeure events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Electronic delivery is normally provided by email unless otherwise agreed. Hard copy delivery, courier delivery, notarisation, apostille, or postal services may be subject to additional fees and third-party processing times.
9. Revisions
Clients must request any revisions within 7 days of delivery.
Revisions will be provided free of charge where the issue is due to an error made by Urgent Certified Translation or one of its linguists.
Revision requests caused by changes to the source document, unclear original text, client preference, new instructions, spelling preferences not provided before work began, or additional formatting requirements may be subject to additional charges.
10. Cancellations and Refunds
Once work has started, cancellation or refund requests may not be accepted.
Where a project has not yet started, refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Urgent, same-day, express, notarisation, apostille, courier, or third-party service fees may be non-refundable once processing has begun.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Urgent Certified Translation shall not be liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Delays caused by third-party services
Rejection by third parties due to requirements not disclosed before work began

Our total liability in relation to any service shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for that specific service.
